Assisted living offers ongoing daily support and flexible services for those no longer able to live independently. Caregivers are on staff 24/7 to meet resident needs, and three delicious meals daily, medication management, housekeeping and laundry are just a few of the many essential services provided.
The care provided in the assisted living setting at Lutheran Homes & Health Services is unique in the Fond du Lac area in that, due to our license, we are able to provide more services and support than many of our competitors. We have the ability to serve residents with an activated Power of Attorney (POA) in the assisted living setting and, because we offer skilled nursing on our campus, registered nurses are always on campus or on call. Our pricing structure is transparent, and does not include many of the “add ons” you may find at other communities.
Lutheran Homes & Health Services is passionate about providing engaging and entertaining life enrichment programming, and we focus on the abilities and interests of our residents and social connections when offering recreational opportunities. We strive to maintain residents’ connection to the community whenever possible, both by offering trips and events off-campus, and by creating inter-generational programming opportunities on campus.
We offer long-term skilled nursing care for those in need of nurse support on a regular basis, as well as for those suffering from dementia. For those recovering from surgery or a health emergency, we pride ourselves on effective short-term rehabilitation services and the support you will receive from physical, occupational and speech therapists as we help you regain your independence and return home.
